Registration Deadline Approaching for Art in Bloom at BAGA

Artists are invited to participate in the upcoming Art in Bloom exhibition at the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association, with the registration deadline quickly approaching on June 16.

Originating with the Bismarck Downtown Artist Cooperative, Art in Bloom is expanding this year to include both gallery locations, creating a larger community celebration of art and floral design. The exhibit pairs original artwork with fresh floral arrangements inspired by selected pieces, transforming the galleries into immersive spaces filled with color, creativity, and natural beauty.

Artists may submit up to two works for the exhibition. There is no entry fee for members and a $20 fee for non-members. Artists who are members of both BAGA and BDAC are especially encouraged to participate at both locations.

Important dates for the exhibition include:

• June 16 — Registration Deadline
• June 30 — Artwork Drop-Off at BAGA (Tuesday, 10 am–5 pm)
• July 8 — Exhibit Opens
• July 8 — Opening Reception from 5 pm–8 pm at both BAGA and BDAC
• August 4 — Artwork Pick-Up (Tuesday, 10 am–1 pm)

In addition to the artwork and floral displays, visitors will be able to follow a floral-themed sidewalk chalk pathway connecting the two galleries during the reception evening. Artists should also keep an eye out for an upcoming call for artists to help create the floral sidewalk chalk installations that will guide guests between locations.

Art in Bloom promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community in downtown Bismarck.

BAGA Flea Market Returns June 26–27

The Bismarck Art & Galleries Association is excited to host our annual Flea Market on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 — and your donations can make a big difference at BAGA!

As you clean out closets, garages, kitchens, and storage spaces this year, consider setting aside gently used items to donate to the sale. Funds raised from the Flea Market directly support BAGA’s operating expenses and exhibition programming.

We gladly accept items such as:

Books
Cookware and dishes
Bikes and camping gear
Home décor
Yard equipment
Toys
and more!

Please note: we are unable to accept shoes or clothing.

Due to limited storage space, donations cannot be accepted until June 3.
