Nicole Gagner - Prairie Observations

Nicole's work is influenced by a lifetime of watching people connect over creative pursuits like woodcarving, lacemaking, quilting, pickle making and other ways of preserving historic traditions and outlets for self expression.

The Member Artist gallery will feature Judy Lewis, Chino Valley, AZ.  Her exhibit A Personal Perspective is primarily works created by using her memories and imagination to paint landscapes and still life that reflect her own vision and appreciation of the beauty around her.

          Exhibition Sponsor is Lee Benjamin          and additional support by the ND Council on the Arts &               the Tom & Frances Leach Foundation.


An artist's reception will be held on September 9 from 5-7 p.m.  The reception is free and open to the public.  Music by Rod Morasch.

The 78th Annual Fall Art Show featuring over 70 different artists.  The exhibit includes a miniatures division shown in the smaller gallery and an open division in the main gallery.  For an artist registration form please contact the gallery at 701-223-5986 or baga@bismarck-art.org


This exhibit is open to artists 18 years and older and accepts all mediums.

An opening reception is scheduled for October 4 from 5-7 pm.

Join us for this fast-paced art making event that will help you loosen up to create art in a free-spirited approach!

Twelve participants will start their art, then pass it to the artist on their left, every 5 minutes, until their original makes it around the table. Within 1 hour you’ll have a lively piece of art created by you and 11 of your new best friends.

BAGA will host its annual Festival of the Arts on November 17th.  This years event will be held in the Ale Works restaurant, a new venue with a very different feel than previous years.  There will be a live auction, music and great food!  Please plan to join us!  More information will be available on this website soon.

New items have been added recently, and include the book North Dakotans Never Give Up by Larry Aasen, necklaces by Michelle Farnsworth, wood turnings by Larry Nelson, and earrings & bracelets by Gail Schadewald.  BAGA also carries Farnsworth's recent book "Are You Tiny" and children's books by Carter & Katherine Pendergast including "Pickles the Dog" and "I'm a Spinosaurus..." with their stuffed animals.
