Art in Bloom Reception Celebrates Art, Flowers, and Community
Join the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association (BAGA) and the Bismarck Downtown Artist Cooperative (BDAC) for the opening reception of Art in Bloom on Wednesday, July 8, from 5:00–8:00 p.m.
This collaborative exhibition features artwork inspired by nature, with selected pieces interpreted through fresh floral arrangements created by local florists. Visitors are encouraged to explore both galleries and experience the unique connection between visual art and floral design.
The reception will also feature Third Day Family Farms selling fresh-cut flowers at BAGA, as well as a community floral sidewalk chalk display connecting the two gallery locations.
Art in Bloom will remain on display through July 31, but the opening reception offers a special opportunity to see the floral interpretations, meet artists, and celebrate creativity in bloom throughout downtown Bismarck.
Capital A’Fair | August 1–2, 2026
Join the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association for the 52nd Annual Capital A’Fair, one of North Dakota’s favorite summer arts festivals. Held on the beautiful North Dakota State Capitol Grounds, this free, family-friendly event celebrates creativity with art, entertainment, and community.
Browse more than 100 artist booths featuring handcrafted artwork in a variety of mediums, enjoy live music and artist demonstrations, explore the Kid Zone, admire classic cars, and savor delicious food from local vendors.
Whether you’re searching for a unique piece of art, looking for a fun family outing, or simply wanting to enjoy a summer weekend outdoors, Capital A’Fair has something for everyone.
