   Brad Bachmeier "Badlands Origins"

                 November 1-23, 2022

Fargo artist Brad Bachmeier presents "Badlands Origins", an exhibition of a sampling of the work from his Conservation Through Clay project and his two recent residencies in Theodore "Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and Makoshika State Park in Montana.

Member Artist is Kristy Little.  Her work showcases an assortment of domestic and wildlife creatures, primarily done in pastels.

 with additional support by the ND Council on the Arts and the Tom & Frances Leach Foundation.

An artist reception is planned for November 4th from 5-7 pm.  Free and open to the public.

December 6 - 22, 2022

The annual Member Artists Show with many of our local & regional member artists participating.  This is a cash & carry show - a purchase may be taken home at the time of purchase.  Artists are allowed to replace any sold pieces, so the show is constantly changing.

An opening reception is planned for December 6th from 5-7 pm.  Free and open to the public.

New items have been added recently, and include the book North Dakotans Never Give Up by Larry Aasen, necklaces by Michelle Farnsworth, wood turnings by Larry Nelson, and earrings & bracelets by Gail Schadewald.  BAGA also carries Farnsworth's recent book "Are You Tiny" and children's books by Carter & Katherine Pendergast including "Pickles the Dog" and "I'm a Spinosaurus..." with their stuffed animals. 

Don't forget our notecards, Jules Loft bird feeders, Shelly Sayler and Judy Carlson pottery, Shannon Kline necklaces and artwork by a variety of artists!



Class listings for 2023 will be posted soon!  If you are interested in learning somethings new, we'll have a beginner class in felting, woodcarving, and printmaking.  If your creative side is a little uptight, we'll be offering a class with hypnosis to help you loosen up!  Michael Dunn will lead a class in pastels and we're adding still more.  Check back soon and they will be listed under the heading "Classes".

Get your registrations in for the member's show next month!  We need more entries to make this show a real example of the variety and quality of our own local artists!

There is no entry fee for member's to enter their work, and this is a cash & carry show that gives artists a chance to sell and replace the sold piece with another work.
